About CEMAR

CEMAR is a Turkish travertine manufacturer and international supplier with its own quarry and manufacturing facilities.

Since 1965, we have been quarrying, processing and supplying travertine to international markets. By managing the process directly—from extraction and material selection to processing, finishing and preparation for shipment—we maintain control over the material and production at every stage.

Today, we supply importers, distributors, architects, contractors, developers and project partners in more than 50 countries.

Quarry & Manufacturing

Our travertine quarry is located in Kula, Manisa, one of Türkiye's established travertine-producing regions, approximately 150 kilometres from the Port of İzmir.

Covering approximately 900,000 m² and with an estimated reserve of 270 million m³, the quarry provides the long-term material base for our production.

Material from the quarry is processed within our own manufacturing facilities. Our production includes blocks, slabs, tiles, pavers, pool copings, stair elements, wall cladding and custom-cut products in a range of dimensions, finishes and selections.

We produce both Cross Cut and Vein Cut travertine, with material selection and processing managed according to the characteristics of the stone and the requirements of each order.

Across our quarry, manufacturing and operations, we work with a team of more than 500 professionals.

International Supply

Our travertine is supplied to more than 50 countries across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Asia and other international markets.

We work with importers and distributors requiring ongoing supply, as well as architects, contractors and developers sourcing material for specific projects.

Depending on the order, we can manage material selection, dimensions, finishes and packing according to market and project requirements. Our teams coordinate the process from quarry selection and production planning through to final preparation for export.

Experience in Travertine

More than six decades of working directly with travertine have given us an extensive understanding of the material—from block selection and natural variation to cutting direction, surface finishing and production for different architectural applications.

Our facilities, technology and international reach have developed considerably since 1965. The foundation of our work, however, remains unchanged: direct access to the material, control over production and continuity of supply.
